At the same time it has the advantage of being close to the centre of Schoorl. By bicycle, you reach the beach in 20 minutes. Schoorl, Groet and Camperduin are situated near a wide strip of dunes with an area of 1800 hectares lined up on the edge of the National Park of the 'Schoorlse Duinen'. The varied flora, some small streams, a highly branched and large network of cycling and hiking trails. The typical Dutch polder landscape joins on the eastern edge of the area. Where the dune series ends, begins the Hondsbossche Zeewering (d**e)Behind this large d**e you'll find 'de Putten', a bird sanctuary.
