The 2024 boating season is over!

It was a season of challenges. Bad weather in spring, Jan who became ill with a long recovery. I also broke a toe🙄

And our father who passed away last summer 🖤

But also highlights, with nice🥳 groups on board, breakfast boats and all school classes that came to fish for plastic soup. 🎣

We are now going to enjoy the peace and quiet wintertime.

We 🧡 to see you back in 2025~ we start April 12th.

Rock the boat⚓️~ met VSO school gingen wij vanochtend aan de slag. 🎣🐟
Gelukkig was het om 9.00 uur vanochtend droog👍

Omgeving Zuiderpark, ook daar komen we de tegen, numero uno in de gracht, wel gedeelde plaats met Redbull natuurlijk 😃

Uiteraard weer een aantal fanatiekelingen aan boord die enthousiast kunnen scheppen🎣🪣
Ook de boot besturen met Kapitein Jan naast je.

Catch of the Day, waren de beeldjes.
Na afloop Daisy 🌼 afspoelen en schrobben.

Al met al een halve container uit het water geschept🙄
Morgenochtend weer een dag voor

Deze week wordt een uitdaging met het herfstachtige weer. Gaan we het droog houden en kunnen we tussen de buien doorvaren? De komende twee weken vooral plastic soep vissen met schoolklassen en ook als bedrijfsuitje. Allemaal op verschillende locaties, rondom Soestdijks kade of op de Vliet, vuil ligt meestal overal, dus er valt wel wat te scheppen.

Who are we?

We are Leonie & Jan Persoon, natives of The Hague. We have dedicated a large part of our lives to boating and sailing. The legendary skipper Jan is the cause of our keen interest in boating. Generations of Persoons have worked as sailors in the Dutch region of Westland. They managed Farmer ships which transported fresh fruit and vegetables from Westland to auction. Ga je mee woensdagmiddag 18 september?
Tijdens "Actie schone buurt" kan je gratis bij ons aan boord stappen. Beperkt aantal plekjes aan boord, dus meld je snel aan!

Tijdens Actie Schone Buurt gaan wij plastic soep vissen op woensdagmiddag 18 september. En het mooie is dat jij gratis kan meehelpen met ons!

We zijn gestart! De komende tijd gaan we frequent plastic soep vissen met brugklassers. 🎣🪣🐟

Vanmiddag zijn we gaan varen met de leerlingen van die geen zwemdiploma hebben of wellicht het suppen toch te spannend vinden. Andere leerlingen gingen zwerfafval ophalen met Casper van .

Het was natuurlijk super weer om je per ongeluk van je sup af te laten vallen.....😜
Maar op de boot was het serieus hard werken en fanatiek dat de kinderen zijn!

Nu lag er zowaar weinig zwerfafval op de Neherkade en omgeving. Wat natuurlijk een goed teken is, of het is door de wind naar andere delen van de stad gewaaid.

Maar opvallend was dat het water in de Binckhorst heel helder was, zie onze foto waar de schroef goed zichtbaar is. Helder water nodigt wel uit voor een plons.🌊
