Do you want to know what the effects of the Indian Union Budget 2025 for your company? Come and join the program on March 6th 2025, in Amsterdam!

India continues to outperform major economies, with a projected growth of 7% to 7.2% in FY25, spurred by strong fundamental growth drivers. At same time, considering the geopolitical environment and growing consumer demand in India, European MNEs are increasingly focused to invest in India.

From Indian government perspective, as a continued reflection of the Budget 2.0 of 2024, the Budget 2025 is expected to reaffirm the Indian government’s pursuit of making India ‘Viksh*t Bharat’ i.e., ‘a developed India’ by 2047. This includes introducing various measures such as making manufacturing in India more competitive through focus on production, introducing production linked incentive schemes for key industries, promoting ease of doing business, rationalization of income-tax law, fostering innovation and sustainability. All these measures are crucial to achieve India’s goal of sustaining long-term economic growth above 6% and to repose India’s position as a formidable economic force to reckon with for global businesses.

In this context, we are delighted to invite the members of NICCT to a special live seminar on the India Budget 2025, organized by NICCT and EY. The program will take place on Thursday 6 March 2025, from 15:00 to 18:30hrs CET at EY Amsterdam (Antonio Vivaldistraat 150, 1083 HP AMSTERDAM). This seminar will feature expert insights from Amit Jain, EY Leader Global Desk EMEIA and India Desk and Erwin Sieders, Tax Partner, EY Netherlands.

Highlights of the Seminar:
* Summary of the India Budget 2025
* Incentives for new investments
* Opportunities for businesses

The program provides a comprehensive overview of the India Union Budget 2025, with a focus on its relevance to businesses engaging with India, and highlights new opportunities emerging from recent tax and regulatory reforms.

15:30-15:35 Welcome & Opening by Edith Nordmann (Chairman - NICCT)
15:35-15:40 Welcome by Erwin Sieders (Partner International Tax – EY Netherlands) (Moderator)

Final Boarding call - Innovatiemissie India: SemiCon - 2-7 Maart 2025!

Doelen missie
*Inzicht krijgen in het semicon ecosysteem van India en hun strategie;
*Matchmaking met Indiase bedrijven en kennisinstellingen;
*Het verkennen van (bilaterale) onderzoek en innovatie samenwerkingen met India.

Conceptprogramma missie

Hierbij is inbegrepen:
*deelname aan het collectief programma;
*transfers (incl. binnenlandse vluchten) van en naar *programmaonderdelen;

Deelname is exclusief:

1 deelnemer.

Flashback and a big thank you!

On December 18, 2024, NICCT (in collaboration with amsterdam inbusiness, Broekman Logistics, and SADC, and with the valued support of the Consulate-General in Mumbai and NFIA) hosted the C-level program “India-Netherlands Logistics: Past, Present, and Future.”

This event focused on key sectors such as logistics, ports, maritime innovation, and supply chain advancements, emphasizing the cultivation of Indo-Dutch business synergies.

The program was moderated by Rajiv Mehra (NICCT) and featured distinguished speakers, including:
* Nabil Taouati, Consul General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Mumbai
* Mrs. Pauline Krikke, Board Mentor & Strategic Advisor, Former Mayor of The Hague and Arnhem, and Former Deputy Mayor of Amsterdam
* Edith Nordmann, Chairman NICCT
* Rutger Bonsel, Global Commercial Director, Broekman Logistics
* Olav Steffers, Director Foreign Investment, SADC & AAA
* Jeroen Bokhoven, Executive Director, NFIA
* Jolanda van der Aart, Senior Manager Foreign Investments & Trade, AI–ICT–Agri Food & Tech Clusters, India Specialist, amsterdam inbusiness

After weeks of meticulous preparation with a highly efficient team, including Swati Sudhakaran and Manasi Kadane, Charles Gonzales Wijnen-City of Amsterdam, Sanne Lutz-Clipper Stad Amsterdam, and GAC Shipping India Private Limited Mumbai—the program was executed flawlessly and celebrated as a great success.

This achievement would not have been possible without the dedication and teamwork of all involved.

Doelen missie
*Inzicht krijgen in het semicon ecosysteem van India en hun strategie;
*Matchmaking met Indiase bedrijven en kennisinstellingen;
*Het verkennen van (bilaterale) onderzoek en innovatie samenwerkingen met India.

Conceptprogramma missie
