Young Experts Programme Water (YEP Water) is a public-private partnership between the Ministry of Foreign Affaires and the Netherlands Water Partnership to pursue the availability of international professionalism and expertise in the water sector. This programme offers Dutch young professionals an opportunity to acquire professional experience abroad and young local professionals an opportunity to

take their first steps in an international work environment via Dutch organisations. In adopting this approach YEP Water makes a contribution to a dynamic international water network and makes this network open to a new generation of water experts.

During her holiday, YEP Water programme manager Marjon Reiziger visited the Jakarta office of Witteveen+Bos, where Arthur, Anton, Wanna, Lourens and Aditya are working as Young Experts! The mix of 2 Dutch Young Experts and 3 local Young Experts is a good one: country representative Eveline Buter noticed an added value in exchanging of knowledge and intercultural facilitation. Arthur, Anton, Wanna, Lourens and Aditya like being a Young Expert and talked with Marjon about their wishes for the next training: in September they will return to the Netherlands for a 2 week training programme. Good luck, we’ll see you then!!
