From selling a single batch of cable ties worth 1,000 guilders to becoming a major name across Europe – WKK’s journey over the last 40 years is a story of vision and partnership.🌍

In celebration of this milestone, Roxanne, our Marketing Manager, sat down with founders Ward and Jozef. Reflecting on their shared journey, Jozef said, ‘This anniversary makes me very proud. We’ve worked side by side for 40 years without a single big fight – that says a lot about our partnership and shared vision.’

Ward added, ‘We wanted to forge our own path.’ That determination has brought WKK from its beginnings to the company it is today, built on teamwork and family-like unity.

✨ Wij hadden een feestje!

Succes betekent zoveel meer wanneer je het deelt met de mensen die het meest belangrijk zijn. Om 40 jaar WKK te vieren, openden we de deuren van ons kantoor in Tilburg voor familie en vrienden. Deze mijlpaal was de perfecte gelegenheid om onze dierbaren te laten zien wie WKK echt is.

Sommige collega's zijn al erg lang bij ons, dus het was heel bijzonder voor hen om hun familie en vrienden een kijkje in de keuken te geven.

Proost op 40 jaar hard werken & dat échte familiegevoel!

During the UEFA European Championship 2024, there were many police checks near the border.

The police achieved some successes, sparking a general discussion about border controls. As part of a report on this topic, the German public broadcaster WDR visited us as an international company near the Dutch border, interviewed our COO, John Jenniskens, and provided some insights into our German branch.

We are thrilled to announce the extension of the Photovoltaic system on WKK Germany's building!

With the recent upgrade, the PV system now boasts a capacity of 140 kWh, providing us with abundant clean energy.

This expansion ensures that we can now cover all the energy consumption of WKK Germany's premise sustainably. 🌿

𝗪𝗞𝗞 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗻𝗶𝗲𝘂𝘄𝗲 𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗿𝗶𝗷𝗸

Al sinds de oprichting in 1984, 40 jaar geleden, is WKK actief op de Franse markt. Om onze aanwezigheid in Frankrijk te versterken en onze Franse klanten nog beter te kunnen bedienen, openen we binnenkort een vestiging in Frankrijk. Na eerdere uitbreidingen in Duitsland, Polen, Italië en China is de opening van een vestiging in Frankrijk de volgende stap in de groei van de WKK Groep. Edward Willems, medeoprichter van WKK, en William Crevel, aankomend Commercial Branch Manager van WKK France S.A.S., zetten vandaag hun handtekening onder het contract van William. William Crevel heeft ruime ervaring in commerciële functies en was tot voor kort commercieel directeur van Crevel Distribution, het familiebedrijf van zijn vader. We zijn verheugd dat hij zijn expertise in de Franse markt nu voor WKK in gaat zetten.

Onder het motto "alle beetjes helpen" hebben we vanaf vandaag een inzamel box van eeko.box voor printercartridges, mobiele telefoons en tablets op ons kantoor in Tilburg. Ben je in de buurt? Voel je vrij om ook je cartridges of elektronica in te leveren!

Op Hemelvaartsdag doet traditiegetrouw een team van WKK mee met het Joosen voetbaltoernooi bij Neerlandia in Dorst.

En niet zonder resultaat! Dit jaar wist het team de tweede plaats te behalen, uit een totaal van 24 teams!💪

Ter ere van de opening van het nieuwe distributiecentrum van Elektramat, adviseur en specialist in groepenkasten heeft WKK, namens de directie en de medewerkers, €250,- gedoneerd aan Hart van Twente. Hart van Twente is een maatschappelijk initiatief van FC Twente (waar Elektramat shirtsponsor van is), speciaal voor kinderen en jongeren uit de regio die in een zorgelijke of moeilijke situatie zitten.

Gefeliciteerd met de opening van jullie distributiecentrum, Elektramat!

Gisteren vond de Verbeeten Challenge Tilburg plaats. Tijdens dit evenement halen de deelnemers op een sportieve manier geld op voor de strijd tegen kanker. WKK sponsort dit evenement al een aantal jaar. Daarnaast zijn we trots op onze collega Marie-José Rasenberg: ze fietste gisteren 45 kilometer om geld op te halen voor de Challenge!

De totale opbrengst van de Verbeeten Challenge was dit jaar maar liefst €155.215,- : een prachtig resultaat!
