is a public park (one of the oldest in the Netherlands!) and a national monument. Running 5km long along the canal that wraps around the center of , this park was designed by J.R. Zocher in 1830 when the city walls were demolished. It was intended to be a nice walking park for the city's residents, and continues to serve its purpose nearly 200 years later! ❤️

, or , as it's known in the local dialect, is the fourth largest city in the Netherlands. It often gets overlooked in favor of more "touristy" destinations, but what we hear most commonly from out-of-town visitors is: "I'm SO glad I decided to come here!", followed closely by "I should have planned for more time here!"
