GreenDreamCompany is door SBB genomineerd binnen de sector ‘creatieve industrie’ voor de verkiezing beste leerbedrijf van Nederland!

“Het feit dat u bent voorgedragen voor deze prijs, benadrukt de belangrijke rol die u speelt bij het opleiden van mbo-studenten in de beroepspraktijk. Iets om trots op te zijn,” aldus het SBB.

Uit de 1168 voorgedragen bedrijven voor beste leerbedrijf zijn er 87 genomineerde leerbedrijven en 81 genomineerde praktijkopleiders geselecteerd. Alle genomineerden zijn inmiddels beoordeeld door een jury, helaas behoort GDC dit jaar niet tot de top 10.

Wij zijn dan ook hartstikke trots op deze nominatie! Bedankt aan degene die ons hebben voorgedragen! Het is een waar compliment aan ons hele team.

We zijn een divers team zowel in achtergrond, leeftijd, professie als windrichting en dat maakt wie wij zijn. Samen geloven wij in het verhaal van onze merken en de Ubuntu filosofie. Doordat iedereen (stagiair, trainee of professional) op zijn eigen manier een bijdrage levert aan onze merken en de producten, ontstaan er hechte samenwerkingen en de mooiste verhalen en resultaten.

The mantra ‘I exist because of We’ forms the core of the humanistic African philosophy Ubuntu. This philosophy became the foundation of our work and team. It is the essence of our existence. In our in-house team, leadership, and management, but also when collaborating with other parties, we practice Ubuntu.

𝐆𝐞𝐥𝐮𝐤𝐤𝐢𝐠
Gedurende mijn eerste onderneming kwam ik als trainer, interim manager en mediator op het gebied van sociale inclusie en change management bij veel organisaties terecht. Zowel in de private sector, publieke domein, onderwijsinstituten als NGO’s.

Ik zag daar de problemen rondom buitengesloten medewerkers, en mensen die zich niet verantwoordelijk voelde waar ze mee bezig waren, hoog ziekteverzuim en ontoegankelijke leiders die op afstand stonden van de werkvloer.
Kortom, ik zag geen gelukkige medewerkers, een ongelukkig management maar ook eenzame leiders. Het moest anders.

Ik ging dromen over hoe het zou zijn als je wél een gelukkig bedrijf kon runnen met thema’s die er toe deden. Mensen die elkaar nodig hadden om hun werk succesvol en met plezier te kunnen doen. En samen garant te staan voor resultaat.

Het was in die tijd dat ik voor mijn werk regelmatig naar Afrika reisde en in aanraking kwam met de Ubuntu filosofie. Een humanistische filosofie over de kracht van diversiteit en verbondenheid. En waar je meer bent dan alleen je professie. Deze Ubuntu filosofie sloot naadloos aan op mijn ambities.

Wat zou er gebeuren als ik deze filosofie zou weten te koppelen aan uitdagingen bij Westerse organisaties? Het begon te kriebelen. Ik wilde laten zien dat het wél kon. En zo is mijn tweede onderneming begonnen. is een bedrijf waar we permanent werken en experimenteren met Ubuntu Management.

Yesterday we visited the Vakantiebeurs Vakdag, and our Art Director, Jean-Claude Ngumire, visited the Visit Rwanda stand to discuss the next steps for a Cultural Experience Park, a heritage-orientated theme park. To be continued!

Gisteren waren wij aanwezig op de Vakantiebeurs Vakdag en heeft onze Art Director Jean-Claude Ngumire een bezoek gebracht aan de Visit Rwanda stand. Hier heeft hij gepraat over de volgende stappen voor een Cultural Experience Park, een erfgoed-gericht themapark. Wordt vervolgd!

A real estate transformation project by GreenDreamCompany

Midden in het stadscentrum van Tiel wordt het voormalige patriciërshuis omgebouwd tot 5 zelfstandige appartementen. Deze appartementen hebben een gezamenlijke entree die chique doet ogen door de hoge ruimte, authentieke ornamenten en prachtige marmeren vloer en lambrisering.

Naast dat de verbouwing hard gaat, gaat ook de verkoop hard. Er zijn nog slechts 2 appartementen beschikbaar!

NL - Ieder jaar doen wij met ons team een leuke teambuilding activiteit! Zo ook dit jaar. We zijn met het GDC team gaan varen op een historische platbodem in Nationaal Park de Biesbosch. Voor sommige was het de eerste keer op een boot! Dat was best even spannend. Samen moesten we uitvaren, manoeuvreren tussen de andere boten en aanleggen. We leerden, in tegenstelling tot onze eigen werkcultuur: de kapitein is altijd de baas in tijden van paniek, discussiëren of het een wijsbesluit is doen we na afloop. Het was een gezellig een zonnige dag!

EN - We organize a team-building activity with our GDC team every year! This year, we sailed with the team on a historic flat-bottomed ship in National Park De Biesbosch. For some of us, it was the first time on a boat! That was quite exciting. Together we had to set sail, manoeuvre between the other boats and moor the ship. Contrary to our work culture, we learned: that the captain is always the boss in times of panic, and we discuss whether it is a good decision afterwards. It was a lovely sunny day!
