Have you ever taken Flåmsbana? 🚂✨

This scenic railway journey is one of Norway’s most breathtaking experiences! Connecting the mountain village of Flåm with the main rail network at Myrdal, Flåmsbana takes you through stunning valleys, majestic waterfalls, and towering cliffs. 🏞️

A marvel of engineering, this 20-kilometer route boasts one of the steepest standard gauge railway lines in the world, with a gradient of 1 in 18. Along the way, you'll be treated to extraordinary views of Norway's rugged landscape, including the famous Kjosfossen waterfall, where the train makes a special stop.

Brufjell Caves, a hidden treasure in Southern Norway! 🌍✨

Formed over 20,000 years ago during the Ice Age, these horizontal potholes were shaped by intense sea activity when water levels were higher. 🌊

Today, these unique formations rest 20 meters above sea level, with some large enough for adventurers to climb inside!

Brufjell, located near Åna-Sira just outside Flekkefjord, offers an exciting hiking experience. The trail includes a challenging ascent, rewarding you with breathtaking, panoramic views from the mountain top that stretch all the way to the Lista lighthouse.

Kjerag is so much more than the boulder 🪨

At 1084 meters above sea level, this hike offers stunning views of Lysefjord and a challenging adventure 💪

While many visitors come to see Kjeragbolten (Kjerag Boulder), it's not always safe to stand on it, especially in wet or windy weather. Safety first! Most people actually choose to simply enjoy the spectacular views and experience the nature around. 🙂

The last watchman in Valbergtårnet in Stavanger was Tobias Sandstøl, on duty until 1922 🫡🏰

His story inspired "Tobias in the tower" in the famous Norwegian children's book Kardemommeby by Torbjørn Egner. ✨📖

You can almost picture him during sunsets, ready to alert the town. 🌄📣

The tower, built between 1850 and 1853 by Chr. Grosch, now serves as a museum and event venue. 🏛️
