Welcome to the Arctic!

The name Stella Polaris means The northern star. If you look closely, you will see that the northern star is a part of the constellation Ursa Minor, little dipper. Our name and logo symbolize that we are your pathfinder towards the north. We will guide you towards your Arctic Adventures, and you will be in the safe hands of our professional team of guides.

Even though we are located in Bodø, we operate in all areas above the Arctic Circle, mainly the Lofoten islands and the glacier Svartisen south of us. Our day-to-day business is here in Bodø, serving the Hurtigruten ships with excursions every day, year round. All of our adventures are based on nature and culture, and the key element is our history. Who are we? Where are we coming from? Our guests are explorers, seeking new knowledge and adventures and this is given by our dedicated and proud guides!
