Spend a night among the treetops, surrounded by nature, birds, deer and wildlife; Ramnereiret – Th Ramnereiret Tretopphytter

Hausten/vinteren 2013/14 gjekk 11 familiemedlemer saman og skipa aksjeselskapet Alfheim Skog & Jakt AS med formål om å kjøpe og drive Statskogen Alfheim. Me kom tidleg opp med ideen om å byggje tretopphytter, på stader i skogen med spektakulær utsikt med villmarksoppleving. Ramnereiret AS blei skipa i mai 2017, og skal stå for booking og drift av tretopphyttene. Me har valgt dei mest spektakulære

plassane i Amla, med tanke på utsikten over Sognefjorden. Me har og valgt plassar som skal gi den beste naturopplevinga. Vi skal ta vare på skogen, fugle- og dyrelivet, ved og rundt hyttene. Hyttene skal ha utgangspunkt i gamal norsk byggeskikk. Det er laftehytte, stavlafthytte, grindabygg, stabbursbygg og dei gamle stavkyrkjene. Den første er inspirert av stavkyrkjene. Bygging og drift er planlagt med ynskje om bærekraftig reiseliv. Me ynskjer å bygge og drifte hyttene på ein mest mogeleg miljømessig måte. English translation:
Ravens nest - tree top hut. Autumn/winter 2013/14, a couple of family members went together and founded the corporation “Alfheim Skog & Jakt AS” with the purpose of buying and operating a part of the forest located in Amla, Kaupanger. We early came up with the idea of building treehouses that would be made available by rental. The treehouses were imagined to be situated around the most spectacular areas of the forest. As a result, Ramnereiret AS – The Raven’s Nest AS – was founded May 2017 and will be in charge of booking services and daily operation of the treehouses. As mentioned, we have located the most spectacular areas in Amla, highly considering the view of the incredible Sognefjord (unesco world heritage list). Additionally, when deciding upon the placement of the treehouses, we kept the idea of a complete wilderness adventure in mind. Therefore, it is of great importance to us to maintain the natural wildlife at and around the treehouses, while being able to incorporate it into the total experience. The design of the treehouses has its origin in ancient, traditional Norwegian architectural style - inspired by stave churches among others. Further, the construction and operation of the treehouses will be administered with the goal of supporting sustainable tourism. We aspire to execute the project as environmentally friendly as possible.

CHILDREN OF HUGIN

Hugin has many offsprings.
One of them is the Ulfberht guitar. Handbuilt and, like Hugin with a design from another time.

Made from our own forrest.
Body in pine, neck elm or oak and fretboard in birch.

Four of them are made. They have differnt design, electronics, finish and three different lenght of neck. One of them features a scalloped fretboard.

These guitares are not for sale, but they are displyed for visitors.

Additional guitars can be made to order.
Lead time aprox 6 months.
