Top modern cabin built in 2016 and the perfect place to stay if you are in Lyngen for skiing, to watch the northern light or just a family trip. Our cabin was ready for use at Easter 2016. floor including livingroom/kitchen, 2 bedrooms, bathroom, hall and a little storage room. 2. floor is 32m2 including 2 bedrooms and a room with tv. The place is called Kunes by locals, 12 km north from Lyngseide

t center, about 1,5 hours drive from Tromso. The lodge is located in a amazing area where you can fish on the rocks directly below. You can go for walks in the summer in a wonderful hiking terrain. In winter you can put on your skis right outside the cabin and start your trip to the mountain. From the cabin you can view several of the peaks belonging to the mighty Lyngen Alps, such as Fastdalstinden, Store Kjostinden, Tafeltinden, Goalborri, Sorbmegaisa, Storhaugen and others. For those who enjoy the midnight sun there is hardly a better place in the world to enjoy it. The midnight sun arrive around May 20 and can be enjoyed every night for several weeks. Late September the Northern Lights appears, which in periods and in clear weather can be seen in the sky until March. An ice fishing trip to our neighbor municipality on 25 March 2023 ended up with one of the best Northern Lights nights I have ever experienced, and I was of course completely unprepared in that setting. God I wish I had brought my Canon and my tripod. In minus 25 degrees with a mobile camera in an adrenaline-trembling and frozen hand, this was the best I could do. Of probably hundred pictures these few was presentable. You have to be present in the moment to fully understand how special and beautiful it is. We are lucky to live here up north! ❤️
