Hver gang vi gir slipp på fortiden, omfavne vi en ny begynnelse. Noen ganger er disse begynnelsene ytre, som når vi flytter til et nytt sted, starte et nytt forhold eller begynne en ny jobb. Andre ganger tar nye begynnelser sted i tankene våre. Når vi får nye perspektiver, eller ser nye muligheter.

Begynnelser og slutter henger sammen. Du kan ikke ha det ene uten det andre. For å omfavne den nye begynnelsen er det nødvendig å gi slipp på det som har vært. Hvis vi klamrer oss til fortiden, begrenser det vår evne til å motta en ny.

Our Swiss chalet style villa in Tromsø is a dream come true. The beautiful architecture, it's history, and location is daily being valued. We try to keep the villa as authentic as we can, and think green and blue as we furnish and remodel this jewel. We had the pleasure of having .van.den.berg visit us, and more pictures will come.

The Arctic Villa is very exited to be welcoming our first guest since the COVID-19 outbreak. Yesterday a lovely couple from Oslo checked in to our beautiful apartment upstairs. Today the sun is shining, and we pray for good health and prosperity for everyone, as we mindfully move into this new world. The Family

We are a family of 4 that has relocated from Los Angeles to Tromso. Lene is a Norwegian, a producer, actress, and Breathwork Facilitator. Gabrial is American, and a musician. Our two bi-lingual and bi-national daughters are both in elementary school. Last summer we moved into our "dream home", which we like to call our Arctic Villa. Having spend many nights away from home, we hope to make your stay with us as special as it is to us.

The Arctic Villa offers two unique apartments, both fully furnished with a their own separate entrance, a full Kitchen, bathrooms and separate living rooms.

AMAZING VEWS The elegant apartment with rare panorama views are located on the Villas 2nd floor with two / three bedrooms, some prefer to use the smaller bedroom as a walk in closet or office, a large full kitchen, a comfortable bathroom with bath tub, a elegant living and dining room. The apartment features two balconies, a large balcony facing east towards the hills and mountains of Tromsdalen, the other offering a rare panoramic view, overlooking the city of Tromsø, the marina, the fjord and the surrounding mountains. The dining room is overlooking the villas large and lush garden. COZY is our apartment on the Villas’ ground floor, with one bedroom, large bathroom with bath tub, a full kitchen, a cozy dining area, -and living room, with a sofa bed that pulls out to a queen size bed. “The gorgeous Arctic Villa is located at a most convenient spot, right near the bus station, a stone's throw away from the Cathedral, and a very short walk to the local supermarket. The host Lene and her family gave us a heartwarming welcome to their home and to Tromso. Lene had anticipated our needs and provided for them without us asking, and she went that extra mile by giving us local tips on Tromso and how to get there and back, and also told us where we could chase the Northern Lights! The best part of it all was the fact that all we needed to do was to step out onto the balcony of the Arctic Villa (that overlooks the fjords) to see the dancing Northern Lights! Amazing views! “This is the best Airbnb experience we had so far! Lene and Gabrial made us feel right at home with their kindness and hospitality. They took such good care of us and gave great advice about what we could do/see and even where to eat! Lene is very easy to contact and so friendly. The house is amazing, a beautiful white magical villa located in a Winter wonderland. Located perfectly with a 20 minute walk to the city, 5 minute walk to the busstation and 8 minute walk to the cable car. It was warm and cosy inside with spacious rooms and a well equipped kitchen. You don’t need a tv because the view on the city of Tromsø is entertainment enough (and we saw the Northern light from the house the evening we arrived). And otherwise you can play one of the board games! If you are going to Tromsø, we would highly recommend this beautiful place!” - Laura February 2020
