facing south-west. Rolvsfjord is located in the middle of Lofoten, south on Vestvågøy and it is close to the airport (LKN) and coastal port of call. Walking distance to an Equestrian Center with Icelandic horses which is a provider of trail riding in the mountains, as well as organizing great hiking trips. The famous Lofoten Golf Link is just a short drive away and the fishing possibilities are excellent. In summertime, watching the midnight sun from the top of the mountain, or in winter time, exploring the northern light from the hot tub just out side the guesthouse. Otherwise there is an additional information folder in the house describing the activities and opportunities that exist in the area, with our local favorites. Rolvsfjord is centrally located in the middle of Lofoten, and idyllically surrounded by lush mountains. Lofoten Farm Trail has one of its end stations here and with a 2-3 hour hiking accross the mountain you can visit Lofotr Viking Museum at Borg, The goat farm Aalan Gård where they produce their award winning cheeses, or head forther until you meet the the north Atlantic ocean on the north of the island. We think both the midnight sun and northern lights is best to expolre from the mountain and with us the possibilities are many. With us you can book a rental car or bikes during your stay to take you around the area. You can also pre-book horseback riding tours, or transport to a given destination with pickup at the agreed time.
