En nydelig dag i Vik for vårt siste anløp denne sesongen! A beautiful day in Vik for our last call of the season 🤩 AIDAsol visited Eidfjord on October 23, and Vik today October 26.
Vi ses neste sesong! See you next season !

Voss og fjordane Guideservice arranged a BLÅTUR to celebrate our guides’ hard work this season 🙌🥰💃🕺🏻 We went to Utne to visit Hardanger Folkemuseum where we had a great guide taking us through the exhibition🤩 The guides also impressed all with their ability to learn Norwegian folk dance in such a short time: 1 hour lesson 💃🏻🕺🏻🙌 Then we went to Jaunsen Gjestgiveri in Granvin for a delicious dinner! Thank you for a great trip and experience, you all rock!

For the summer season 2020 (from early-May to end of September) we are currently looking for TOUR GUIDES.

Requirements:

• • Fluent English and German (C1 to C2 level) PLUS one or more of either Dutch, French, Italian, Spanish or Russian.
• Other combinations that may be considered are:
1. English + French + Spanish + Italian (C1 – C2)
2. English (C1-C2), Dutch (C1 – B2) plus two other languages

NB: Your level must be B2 to C2 according to EU standards (see “Europass language self-assessment grid”). Applicants will be submitted to language tests in all languages confirmed. Norwegian is not required.
• Flexibility, service-mindedness and ability to work with people from different cultures
• Interest in Norwegian culture, history and nature
• Experiences abroad, valid language certificates and higher education are an advantage.
• Self confidence, a team player and a positive attitude are desirable qualities as well as a "people person" mindset.

We offer:

• Interesting work environment
• Opportunities to develop extensive knowledge about the area and to practice your languages on a daily basis
• Training program (online before coming to Norway, then on-site in April/May)
• Wage according to sales of shore excursions, your availability and language combination
• Employee insurance
• Possibility of working for us every summer
• Help in finding accommodation. We rent shared flats/houses in Voss for our guides (approx. NOK 4000/ 400 € per month, plus electricity) - in this case, an accommodation deposit of NOK 2000 must be paid before arrival and will be returned at the end of the rental period.
