In Baitadi District, Conscious Nepal team was giving away clothes collected from France!

If you have any clothes of any kind to donate, please get in touch with us. We are also looking for self care items (toothbrushes etc..), educational items (pens, books etc..) and toys!

ACCESS TO CLEAN AN SAFE WATER IS A HUMAN RIGHT.

Sunnier and hotter than ever over Baitadi District.

Some areas do benefit from water sanitation facilities but that is definitely not the case everywhere.

A little reminder, even though 80% of Nepal has access to drinking water, it is not often safe. Many in remote areas have to rely on small brooks running from the mountains and spend hours travelling to get water and still it is often polluted by industry and domestic waste along with discarge of untreated sewage.

Here is an example of water treatment facilities elaborated in a remoted area of Baitadi District. All together let's grow more of these!!

Because health is so important and children are our future, this morning was focused on the importance of vitamins for children's bodies and brains development.

Big up to the Conscious Nepal team Niranjan Puri, Sangita Thagunna , Katia Yeah and to the absolute lovely Irene and Robin that volunteered on that mission.
