Suberb Catalyst Academy is a government registered English medium school. We currently have 250 students that range from nursery to class 10 (age 4-18). We want to develop our community by educating young people through active involvement in education, women's issues, waste management,health, agriculture, languages, cultures, lifestyles, music, games and sports, the environment and its sustainability. Our specially designed packages offer you the chance to stay in the village of Khanikhola and witness the day to day running of the school for yourself. We ensure to give you an authentic taste of Nepalese village life and allow you to see exactly where and how your money is being spent. Trekking Routes
Combining eight of the highest summits in the world with breathtaking landscapes only reachable by foot, trekking in Nepal is one of the unique experiences of Asia. We can accommodate any trekking route of your choice in Nepal and tailor an individual package and tour especially for you. All treks vary in difficulty and duration. You do not need to be a mountaineer to embark one of our treks however a reasonable level of fitness is required. Please let us know if you have any concerns or medical issues when booking. We can arrange shorter day treks and homestays from Khanikhola, if you are short of time. Perfect if you are waiting for a visa and want to escape Kathmandu! We pride ourselves on featuring the '12 best treks' in Nepal. All of our treks are organised by registered guides. Many of whom are ex-students of our academy. Our treks are fully inclusive and include meals and accommodation in tea houses or tents. Our guides pack all the essentials such as an extensive first aid kit and the all important toilet paper! Our tours include transport to and from the trek from our base in Khanikhola, entrance and conservation fees as well as the trek permit. We ensure all our trekking tours are eco-friendly, limiting our plastic use, taking all waste and leaving no trace. The trekking season in Nepal is March to May and September to mid December. During these months the weather will be sunny and warm with clear skies, giving outstanding views. It is possible to trek in December, January and February but it will be cold and there is a possibility of snow fall at higher elevations. Between May and September is our Monsoon season, so the days are cooler and a lot wetter! Shorter Treks - 2-5 Days

DHAMPUS VILLAGE TREK - a short but rewarding trek through small villages, stunning forests and farm terraces. After a 2 hour walk from Pokhara you will reach the Dampus Village. HIGHLIGHTS: A relatively new trek full of pristine forest that lead to spectacular views of the Annapurna range. JOMSOM TO MUKTINATH TREK - One of the most popular treks in the Annapurna region. Start from one of the worlds deepest gorges and travel into one of the worlds highest regions , passing through an almost tree barren landscape. DURATION: 9-10 days (flight back to Pokhara)

Combining many different landscapes, the trek will lead you alongside terraced rice paddies, through rhododendron forests and up to high altitude landscapes. DURATION: 8-10 days

EVEREST BASE CAMP TREK - A trek through some of the worlds most spectacular mountain scenery to reach Everest base camp - where those who are brave enough climb the summit start their mission. On this trek you can discover remote mountain monasteries and get an insight into the Sherpa's spiritual beliefs. DURATION: 12+ days (flight to the starting point, Lukla)

DIFFICULTY: Moderate to hard
HIGHLIGHTS: The flight to Lukla is on one of the worlds shortest runways along the side of a mountain. ANNAPURNA CIRCUIT TREK - One of the most popular classic treks in Nepal. The start and end to this long trek are relatively easy but it requires endurance. You pass through constantly changing, spectacular scenery from lush green forests to remote barren mountains. DURATION: 16 -21 + days

HIGHLIGHTS: Awe inspiring, alternating scenery. This trek takes you all the way around the Annapurna Range. KANCHENJUNGA BASE CAMP TREK - One of the most remote and wild treks in Nepal, that explores majestic mountain scenery. Some accommodation is basic and you may be camping for some nights. You can choose to trek either the North or South base camp, or if you have time both. DURATION: 12 -26 days

HIGHLIGHTS: Kanchenjunga is Nepals second highest peak and the third highest mountain in the world. GOKYO AND EVEREST BASE CAMP TREK - Add an extra few days to witness the astounding views of the Tokyo region. DURATION: 16+ days (flight to the starting point, Lukla)

DIFFICULTY: More moderate to hard
HIGHLIGHTS: The flight to Lukla is on one of the worlds shortest runways along the side of a mountain. The trip to Tokyo incorporates crossing the Cho-La pass at 5,330m. DHALAGIRI TREK - One of the most challenging treks where you spend 3 days above 5000m. However it is an extremely rewarding trek with its diverse landscapes leading you to unobstructed views of the entire Annapurna Range. DURATION: 21 days (can be shorter, but it is challenging)

DIFFICULTY: Extreme, Hard
HIGHLIGHTS: Steeped in Sherpa culture, high altitude and the world's tallest peaks - a trek to define Nepal. Prior mountaineering experience recommended. LANGTANG VALLEY TREK - A shorter, low altitude trek with beautiful landscapes. You will admire diverse vegetation and pass through remote villages. There are great views of the Annapurnas and Makalu along the route. DURATION: 7-21 days
