धरानमा सञ्चालित रेल मार्ग:
#तस्विर: सन् १९६७ को सुन्सरी, धरान स्थित रेल ||

धरानको यो रेल तत्कालिन कोशी ब्यारेज निर्माणको समय सञ्चालन भएको थियो । कोशी प्रोजेक्टको सम्बन्धमा सन् १९६६ डिसेम्बर १९ मा तत्कालिन श्री ५ को सरकार र भारत सरकार बीच भएको सम्झौता अनुरुप बाँध निर्माणका लागी आवश्यक ढुंगा ओसार्न यो रेल सञ्चालनमा ल्याइएको थियो ।
कोशी प्रोजेक्ट सम्बन्धी कार्यको लागि नेपाल र भारत बीच भएको सन्धी अनुसार भारत सरकारले सो योजनाको लागि नेपालबाट प्राप्त गर्ने ढुङ्गा, इत्यादी आफ्ना खर्चमा संकलन गरी ढुवानी गर्ने र त्यसमा रोयल्टीको हक भन्सार महसूल वा अन्य कर नलाग्ने साथै प्रोजेक्टको लागि चाहिने जग्गाहरू १९९ वर्षको लागि नेपालले भारतलाई ठेक्काको रुपमा उपलब्ध गराउने मुआब्जा इत्यादी भारत सरकारले तिर्ने शर्त गरिएको थियो ।
धरानको यस स्थानमा रेलको लिकको फलाम सबै चोरी भइसके पनि फलामका स-साना टुक्रा अवशेषहरु भने अझै पनि भेटिन्छ ।

Today marks a very special in this . Nepal has announced that the country has achieved its global commitment, made in the 2010 Year of the Tiger, to double the country’s wild tiger population by 2022. Congratulations to for this impressive milestone.

A 2022 survey revealed there are an estimated 355 tigers now in the country, up from 121 individual in 2010. It’s an incredible achievement and testament to the conservation efforts of the government, partners like World Wildlife Fund, and local communities over the last 12 years.

With more tigers comes the need for more focus on safe co-existence between people and predators, and it is welcome news that Nepal has launched the “Prime Minister Human Wildlife Rescue and Relief Fund” to address the challenges of living with tigers.
