Our serene hike to NamoBuddha monastery this afternoon was filled with the Himalayan panorama, vibrant local villages, terraced fields, fluttering prayer flags and warm local smiles. A particularly humbling moment was conversing with monks about Lord Buddha's compassionate sacrifice. Nevertheless, the journey's pinnacle was the magical golden stupa and expansive valley views, perfectly rounded off with Dal-Bhat-Tarkari.
