Happy Krishna Ashtami

Happy Janai Purnima...

Hindu men who wear - sacred thread worn across chest - change it annually on , full moon in the month of Shrawan. Similarly, ritual of tying - sacred thread of protection - on one's hand is observed this day. Sisters also tie brothers on this day. After the rituals, the day is usually enjoyed feasting on varieties and spending time with family. We wish all celebrating a Happy Janai Purnima!
