Devdaha is a historical and ancient town located in the Rupandehi district, approximately 50 km east of Lumbini. It is believed to be the birthplace of Queen Mayadevi, the mother of Siddhartha Gautam.
The town of Devdaha boasts several important Buddhist and Hindu destinations, including the Mayadevi Temple, which commemorates Queen Mayadevi's birthplace, the Kanyamai Buddhist Temple, and the ancient Pakari Tree.
