The Khumbu Icefall is a glacier that is located on the southern slope of Mount Everest in the Khumbu region of Nepal. It is one of the most treacherous and challenging sections of the standard South Col route to the summit of Everest. The icefall is constantly moving and changing due to the glacier's flow, making it extremely dangerous for climbers. The Khumbu Icefall is known for its massive ice towers, deep crevasses, and constantly shifting blocks of ice, creating a maze-like obstacle course for climbers. Climbers must navigate through ladders, ropes, and other technical equipment to safely cross the icefall. The route through the icefall is typically fixed by experienced Sherpas at the beginning of each climbing season to provide a safer passage for climbers.Due to the inherent dangers of the Khumbu Icefall, climbers often try to minimize their time spent in this section by moving swiftly and efficiently. Despite these precautions, the Khumbu Icefall remains a significant risk during any Everest expedition, and climbers must exercise caution and respect for the unpredictable nature of the glacier.Overall, the Khumbu Icefall presents a formidable challenge to climbers attempting to summit Mount Everest and serves as a stark reminder of the mountain's unforgiving and unpredictable nature.
The Himalayan, Nepal. Truly heaven on Earth 🙏🙏❤️

One of the most common questions… how did I feel on top of Everest? Literally like on top of the world, like there is no boundary and you can do anything. It felt surreal, special, unforgettable! I felt happy, relieved and proud! 📹📷✔ IG @tolivetotravel — 📍 #mounteverest
The true outcome of human diligence. Congratulations Fahad Badar for inspiring all of us.

Mt Cho Oyu Winter Expeditions 2022 , Cho Oyu, mountain, one of the world's highest (26,906 feet [8,201 m]), in the Himalayas on the Nepalese–Tibetan (Chinese) border about 20 miles (30 km) northwest of Mt. Everest.
Summiting the mountain from Nepal presents a greater challenge, due to the technical nature of the route.
The Nepalese south side of Cho Oyu at the end of the Gokyo valley is considered technically challenging and at risk of avalanches. The first ascent via this side of the mountain was achieved in fall 1978 by the two Austrians Eduard Koblmüller and Alois Furtner along with Pasang Dawa Lama, who climbed the Southeast Face (without a permit). Until today this route has never been repeated. The last successful ascent of Cho Oyu from Nepal was made eleven years ago: In spring 2009.

When you have been on a mission for 65 days, usually in difficult situations, it is necessary to pep yourself up and those around you. Siggi, Ang and I are there for approx. 7900 meters altitude approaching South Col (camp 4) the 22nd of May 2021.
Although this took a huge toll on me physically and mentally, I miss this moment when I watch the video and think back to this this day when we made it to camp 4 on Everest 🙏
I do not recommend deep conversation with an oxygen mask on your face 😅

One of the most Beautiful View from the Summit of 8848.86m🤩 - Mount Everest is a place at once both awe-inspiring and unforgiving. It is where people go to live out their wildest dreams, many times proving to be too big for even the biggest dreamers. And while not everyone overwhelmed by the mountain leaves their life on one of its hallowed faces and along its taxing routes, those who live through the most extreme tests often walk away with deep-seeded scars and heavy, torn hearts that they will carry with them for the rest of their lives.

May it be small or big, risk is always a risk.
Here you can see the one of those risky part of climbing Mt. Annapurna btw camp 2 and camp 3.
It's a vertical glacier wall where we anchored to climb.
Its a team game, one illogical move of a participant can jeopardize other climber.
Hence technical knowledge and presence of mind is also very important along with the strength.
Every mountain has its own uniqueness. Annapurna is famous for her short weather windows, avalanche, difficulty etc.
These video is one of the evidence to show all of us that its not stairs what we climb in the mountains.😬
More video and photo updates coming up, stay tuned.
With pride
