We are pleased to inform you that all of our climbing teams have successfully reached Everest Base Camp. Additionally, the Puja Ceremony was completed today, which is an important ritual that seeks blessings for a successful expedition.
The Puja Ceremony at Everest Base Camp is a sacred ritual that unites climbers and Sherpas in their quest to summit Mount Everest. This revered ceremony blends Buddhist and Sherpa traditions, seeking blessings for a safe and successful ascent while honouring the mountain's deity, Chomolungma. The ceremony marks the beginning of the climbing season. The Sherpas construct a small Chorten or Stupa and altar, adorned with prayer flags, sculptures made out of butter and tsampa, and offerings of food and drinks. A Buddhist lama conducts prayers, chants mantras, and blesses the climbers and their equipment, invoking protection from the risks that the mountain presents. The participants receive a blessed cord called "khata" as a token of goodwill and tsampa are tossed in the air and smeared on the faces of climbing partners. The Puja Ceremony fosters a sense of camaraderie among climbers while acknowledging the mountain's spiritual significance, promoting reverence for nature and cultural traditions amidst the challenging conditions of Everest's base camp.

Throwback to the P**nhill trek organized by Expeditions High Mountain Pvt. LTD! During the trek, you’ll pass through beautiful rhododendron forests, charming villages, and terraced farmlands. Especially at this time of the year, it could be called a “rhododendron trek” because you get to see so many of them! 🌸

The highlight of the trek is reaching P**n Hill, a viewpoint located at an altitude of 3,210 meters. From P**n Hill, you can witness breathtaking sunrise views over the snow-capped peaks of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. 🏔️
