Hostelling International Nepal Nepal Youth Hostel Council (NYHC) has been established in 2007 according to the philosophy and principles of International Youth Hostel Federation (IYHF)

Youth Hostelling as a movement started by a German School Teacher Richard Schirrmann and his pupils in the year 1909 to help the young people of limited means to experience the countryside and cities of the world. It has become one of the biggest International Membership Organization for youth. It has more than 3 million members around the World. The International Youth Hostels Federation (IYHF) e

stablished in 1932 as an outcome of the first IYHF Conference held in Amsterdam. IYHF is presently represented by over 90 Countries through more than 4000 hostels. IYHF has its Headquarter in England.
