Manjil Gurung as a trainee athlete and Bishnu Gurung as coach flew to Thailand to attend the ICF Asian Regional Canoe Slalom Training Camp and the 2024 ICF U23 /U18 Asian Canoe Slalom Championship, going to be held from February 24th 2024 to March 10th 2024 in Rayong Training Center, Thailand.

Nepalese athlete Ganesh Gurung and Gurung along with Coach Adhikari and Team leader Surya Joshi are participating in 2023 China Nu Jiang Wildwater Canoeing International Open. A farewell program was held at Nepal Olympic Committee by President Mr. JEEVAN Ram Shrestha, before departure to China to take part in China. Competition is going to be held in Yunan Province, China from December 26th 2023 to January 01, 2024.

In a momentous Annual General Assembly (AGM), of the Nepal Rafting & Canoeing Association (NRCA) elected its new executive board. The event, graced by Mr Jeevan Ram Shrestha Chairman of the Nepal Olympic Committee and Ms. Nanda Basyal an Executive Member of the National Sports Council, marked a significant milestone for the association.

The AGM, held at a prestigious venue, saw the enthusiastic participation of members and stakeholders from the rafting and canoeing community across Nepal. Amidst an atmosphere of anticipation, the newly elected executive board members were as follow:
