Updated New visa rule to Nepal caused by COVID -19 dated on 9th.March.2020.
Nepal temporarily suspends on-arrival visa facility for eight nationalities
The government of Nepal has decided to temporarily suspend visa-on-arrival for nationals of China, including Special Administrative Regions, Iran, Italy, Korea, Japan, France, Germany and Spain that have been badly affected by the novel coronavirus outbreak.
However, nationals from these countries, willing to visit Nepal can obtain a visa beforehand from the Nepali missions abroad.

Danphe (Himalayan Monal)
The magnificent Danphe, or the Himalayan Monal, is the national bird of Nepal. It is infamous for the adult male’s striking multi-colored plumage. The adult male pheasant has a long, metallic-green crest with changeable reddish copper feathers on the back and sides of its neck. You can also make out its distinct white back and rump when it takes flight. The female pheasants are comparatively duller in color but they are still as attractive with their mottled brownish-black feathers. If you're planning to visit Nepal then be sure to carry your cameras along because you never know when you'll catch a glimpse of the Himalayan monal on your trip to the Himalayas.
