Over the last 17 years we have organized a large number of treks, expeditions and sightseeing tours, from solo trips, small groups and families to full scale expeditions. Sherpa Brothers has successfully organized complex medical research expeditions for Medex UK and it’s sister company Medical Expeditions to Makalu in 2003, and Dhaulagiri in 2008. Each of these research expeditions had more than 50 participants, and was engaged in high altitude medical research. In conjunction with Medex UK and Porter Progress UK, in 2010 Sherpa Brothers actively participated in helping with data collection for research. Also in 2012 Sherpa Brothers helped in translating the questionnaire form from English to Nepali script, printing and collecting the data. This research was conducted by Porter Progress UK in the Nepal Himalaya. Details of this can be viewed in the link below. Medex will carry out their next medical research in spring 2015 at Manaslu base camp. Sherpa Brothers will be organizing all the local arrangements for this research project.
