Urgent Notice about the Suspension of Visa-on-arrival
The Government of Nepal is monitoring the spread of Corona Virus (COVID-19). Taking into account the global recommendations and measure of the WHO, the Government of Nepal has decided to temporarily suspend visa-on-arrival for the nationals of the following countries, effective from 10 March, 2020 to till the date of further notice:
1. People's Republic of China, including Special Administrative Regions
2. Islamic Republic of Iran
3. Italy
4. Republic of Korea
5. Japan
However, those willing to visit Nepal can obtain visa beforehand from the Nepali Missions abroad. Applicants in these countries are required to submit a recently issued health certificate with the visa application.

Important Notice Regarding Online Application and Payment for Nepalese Visa
This is to inform all foreigners that the Department of Immigration receives all types of online visa applications through its official website only. Recently, the Department has received complaints regarding fake website (https://www.nepal-evisa.com/) receiving applications and payments for Nepalese Visa. However, the Department would like to clarify that it has not authorized any agency or third parties for collecting Visa Applications and visa fees. Therefore, the travellers are strongly advised to visit our official visa application link for Visa Application and Processing.
