Mountain Cleaning Campaign 2021 - an initiation to collect and manage solid waste left over on the mountains has been successfully concluded. Nepal Army in partnership with different government and private companies including Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation ; Nepal Tourism Board started the campaign of cleaning six different mountains of Nepal on April 15,2021. As a result, 27.6 tons of garbage and 4 dead bodies, including two from Everest Camp 4 (8000m were collected and handed over to the concerned agency for its management.
