Day 2: Crossing into Tibet
We rode from Syabrubesi to the Nepal–Tibet border, marking our transition from Nepal into the autonomous region of Tibet, China. After completing customs and immigration formalities on both sides, we continued to the quaint border town of Kerung. Though a relatively short ride, the gradual gain in elevation made this an essential day for acclimatization as we steadily ascended into the majestic Himalayas.
