Come and Experience the Heritage at Mallaj with Amtrip!!

The Heritage main bungalow is about 110 years old, built in 1905 by Col Tej Bahadur Malla after retiring from the Nepal Army. He returned to his birth place to spend quiet retired life in the foothills of Mallaj and constructed a magnificent monument – locally known as “Col Ko Durbar”. Surrounded by typical local village, the bungalow stands alone in 22 ropinis of compound area of the resort.

How to get there:
Mallaj is about 90 kms from Pokhara towards Beni – on the way to Jomson highway. Although most of the journey is by black top highway road, the final 9 kms is mountaneous dirt road and accessible by 4WD vehicles or by mobikes. The next best option is to hike uphill on a trail road which takes 30 – 45 mins to reach the resort from the main highway.

Accommodation:
There are two types of accommodations for the guests. There are 7 rooms in the main bungalow and 8 individual tents in the outdoor tented camp area. Reception, Dinning area, Coffee lounge and TV lounge are all situated in the main bungalow.

Meals:
Specialise in traditional Nepali and Indian cusines but also make exceptional woodfire oven pizzas and outdoor BBQ. All the seasonal vegetables come from organic garden – fresh and totally free of pesticide and other harmful chemicles.

Things to do:
Take mountain bike rides, short hikes around the beautiful hills, visit to a village house, net games like badminton or volleyball.
