Mount Everest, rising 8,848.86m (29,028ft) above sea level reigns as the highest mountain on Earth. For decades summiting Everest has been considered one of the greatest mountaineering achievements. In the spring of each year, we embrace this intense challenge by taking a group of qualified climbers to Nepal to climb Mt. Everest via the South Col route. The South Col was the first successfully climbed route on Mt. Everest as Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay accomplished this feat in 1953. Since then, the South Col has seen over 1000 ascents. It is by far, the most successfully climbed route on the mountain.

Kanchenjunga, regarded as the 'Queen of the great Himalayas', encompasses the mountain ridges of South Peak (8491m), Central Peak (8478m), and Main Peak (8556m), Yalung Kang, Kambachen and Jannu. It stretches southward from Jonsang La to Langpo Peak, Pyramid Peak, and Nepal Peak - all on India's border. It continues further from Talung Peak and Kabru North and South Peaks to the Twin Peaks of Rathong and Kokthan. To the west of Jonsang La, on Tibet's borders, are Jongsang Peak, Outlier, Lashar, Chabuk, and Ohnmi Kangri. Further south lie Nupchu and Sharpu. This, then, is the Kangchenjunga Region, which is also called the "GREAT SNOW MOUNTAIN OF FIVE TREASURES".

Manaslu trekking region, Located in the central Gorkha district bordering Tibet, the area is extremely rich in natural beauty and cultural heritage. Manaslu offers a genuine adventure into a remote wilderness, untouched by the effects of tourism. Manaslu Round trek proceeds entirely around the mighty Manaslu (8,156m), the eighth-highest mountain in the world. We start the trek from the fascinating old historical city of Gorkha, the ancient kingdom of the Shah Dynasty that has a mixed Hindu and Buddhist culture. We follow the bank of the Buri Gandaki River valley, crossing its thundering waters on various types of rope and suspension bridges, passing underneath towering rock cliffs, and through dense jungle. The topography changes each day, as we ascend through a number of climatic zones into rugged territory. We soon join the barren lunar landscape of the Tibetan plateau, where monasteries, temples, chortens, and Mani walls line the trail. Mt. Manaslu, 8163m, the eighth highest mountain in the world, is located about forty miles east of Annapurna I. It is one of the popular among the 8000m Peak for climbing in the Himalayas of Nepal and especially for Japanese Climbers.

Mt. Manaslu was first climbed in 1956 by a Japanese expedition. Its name comes from the Sanskrit word Manasa, meaning 'intellect' or 'soul'. This is the same word that is the root of the name of the holy lake Manasarover near Mt Kailash in Tibet. Just as the British considered Everest to be their mountain, Manaslu has always been a 'Japanese' mountain.
