Tadapani is a small village in the Annapurna Himalaya that is a common overnight stop on the Ghorepani Poonhill Trek, the Mulde Poonhill trek to the west, the Khopra Danda Trek to the north, as well as there is a trail to Chhomrong through Chuile and Gurjung to the north and to the east you will find Ghandruk.

Tadhapani which literally means 'Far Water' in Nepali got its name as the water source was once a long distance from the village. Don't worry they have got it figured now.

How Sulav Yatra came up?

Being travel enthusiasts, we used to travel to different places sparing some time from our busy days. While travelling, we never used to book hotel rooms prior to reaching to the destination. Also, we never used to prefer any travelling agency for transportation or hotel booking services.

We never felt like the travel agencies in Nepal are for us, for internal tourists. When we say the word ‘tourist’, we think about ‘White Westerner’ and we feel like they are the only one whom the Nepali travel companies are built for. The tour packages, tour operation, costs and even the website content are targeted to foreigners only. We neither could afford their costs nor we could rely on them.

The existing businesses only thought about the profits they get by serving the external tourists; but they never had this in their mind that the number of internal tourists have increased a lot these days. While they are looking for one external tourist, they may have missed two internal ones.

On the other hand, we, the internal tourists, waste a lot of our time and energy arranging all services or just pack our bags and leave without proper arrangements. Then, this makes us face a lot of difficulties, unforeseen circumstances and unpredicted consequences.
