Ghandruk - Pokhara - P**n Hill Tour Itinerary (6 Days)
Day 1: Arrival in Pokhara
Drive/Flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara:
If driving, enjoy a scenic 6-7 hour drive along the Trishuli River.
Alternatively, take a 25-minute flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara.
Explore Pokhara:
Check into your hotel and explore Pokhara's Lakeside area, Fewa Lake, and enjoy boating.
Overnight in Pokhara.
Day 2: Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul, Trek to Ghandruk
Drive Duration: 1.5 hours from Pokhara to Nayapul.
Trek Duration: 5-6 hours.
Trek Details:
Begin your trek from Nayapul, passing through beautiful rice terraces and small villages.
Ascend to Ghandruk, a traditional Gurung village with stunning views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and Machapuchare (Fishtail).
Explore Ghandruk:
Visit the Gurung Museum and explore the village.
Overnight at Ghandruk (2,010 m).
Day 3: Trek from Ghandruk to Tadapani
Trek Duration: 4-5 hours.
Trek Details:
The trail gradually ascends through beautiful rhododendron and oak forests.
Enjoy the serenity of nature with occasional glimpses of the Himalayan peaks.
Overnight at Tadapani (2,630 m).
Day 4: Trek from Tadapani to Ghorepani
Trek Duration: 6-7 hours.
Trek Details:
Continue through dense forests, crossing small streams and ridges.
Ghorepani offers magnificent views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges.
Overnight at Ghorepani (2,874 m).
Day 5: Hike to P**n Hill and Trek to Tikhedhunga, Drive to Pokhara
Early Morning Hike to P**n Hill:
A 45-minute hike to P**n Hill (3,210 m) for sunrise views over the Himalayas.
Enjoy panoramic views of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Machapuchare.
Return to Ghorepani for Breakfast:
Trek down to Tikhedhunga (4-5 hours) through forests and terraced fields.
Drive Back to Pokhara:
Short drive back to Pokhara and relax by the lakeside.
Overnight in Pokhara.
Day 6: Departure from Pokhara
Explore Pokhara:
Optional visit to Davis Falls, Gupteshwor Cave, or the World Peace Pagoda.
Return to Kathmandu:
Drive or fly back to Kathmandu.
