Mountain Clean-Up Campaign 2024, under the leadership of the Nepali Army, has achieved remarkable milestones:
* Weโ€™ve collected a staggering 11 tons of garbage from the majestic Everest, Lhotse, and Nuptse mountains ๐Ÿ”๏ธโ™ป๏ธ
* Additionally, our noble cause extends beyond waste management. Weโ€™ve retrieved 5 old souls who once dared to conquer these peaks, ensuring their final resting place is respected ๐Ÿ™

Mountain Clean-Up Campaign 2024 officially concluded today by General Chief of Army Staff, Nepali Army on the occasion of World Environment Day at Nepali Army Headquarters Kathmandu.

Welcome back Team Nepali Army Mountain Clean-Up Campaign 2024-Everest, Lhotse & Nuptse.

Brigadier General Mr. Sanjaya Deuja welcomed and congratulated the team at Kathmandu airport today evening, 4 June 2024

Mountain Clean-Up Campaign team has successfully retrieved 5 old dead bodies and collected 11,000 kg garbage from Everest, Lhotse & Nuptse Mountains โ›ฐ๏ธ

30 members (including 12 Nepali Army members, Sherpa climbers, Kitchen crews) were deployed in this campaign under the leadership of Maj. Mr. Aditya Karki & Mr. Tshiring Jangbu Sherpa (IFMGA guide)
