On May 13, 2023, the season’s first Everest summit rope-fixing team has reached the summit of the mountain on Saturday afternoon 1.52PM. A total of nine Nepali climbers reached the summit, opening the routes for others to follow.

466 people have obtained the permit to climb Mount Everest this year. Some will begin their summit start on Saturday evening.
