Cho Oyu Expedition is a classic Himalayan climb and considered the easiest 8000m peak to climb via its Northwest Ridge, with no technical climbing, big snowfields, and little objective danger. Cho Oyu is easily accessed by 4-wheel-drive vehicle from Tingri, often guided, and is the first 8,000-meter peak for most climbers. Cho Oyu is located 30km west of Mt Everest and straddles the border between

Nepal and Tibet. The peak can be climbed from both Nepalese side up on south face and north-east ridge routes and Tibetan side along the Northwest ridge route with North approach being an easier and a standard route, which was also the route of the first summit. The mountain Cho Oyu is climbable during both spring and autumn seasons. For climbers that want additional support for Cho Oyu Expedition, Snowy Horizon offering a Personal Sherpa Option to you. We will assign exclusively to you one of our very best Sherpas, who has reached to the summit of Cho Oyu and Everest many times. Who has been trained through the Khumbu Sherpa climbing school, and who speaks English well. In Cho Oyu Expedition as a small, two-person team, you will be able to take advantage of the "best of both worlds" with all the "horsepower" of the main Snowy Horizon team at your disposal in case of emergency. However, Snowy Horizon will also have the additional flexibility afforded by a climbing partner who is committed to climb exclusively on your own schedule, when you want to. Your personal Sherpa will also be available to help carry your personal gear to the higher camps, and if desired, additional oxygen for Cho Oyu Expedition. Cho Oyu, we set up the Advanced Base Camp and then three high camps in the mountain. Thereafter starts our main attempt to scale the summit (8201m). The expedition will be supported by very experienced staff and climbing guides. We supply excellent mountaineering tents also for the high camps to our climbers of Mt. The Cho Oyu Expedition is a renowned mountaineering endeavor that beckons adventurers to conquer the world's sixth highest peak, Cho Oyu, located in the majestic Himalayas on the border between Nepal and Tibet. Standing at an impressive 8,188 meters (26,864 feet) above sea level, Cho Oyu presents a formidable yet alluring challenge to climbers from around the globe.

The expedition begins with preparations in Kathmandu or Lhasa, followed by a journey to the base camp situated on the Tibetan side of the mountain. From there, climbers navigate through treacherous icefalls, crevasses, and steep ridges, ascending the mountain in multiple acclimatization rotations.

Cho Oyu is known for its relatively moderate technical difficulty compared to other 8,000-meter peaks, making it an attractive objective for climbers seeking to test their high-altitude skills and endurance. However, the ascent still presents significant challenges, including harsh weather conditions, altitude sickness, and avalanche risks.

The reward for summiting Cho Oyu is unparalleled panoramic views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks, including Everest, Lhotse, and Makalu. The sense of accomplishment and awe-inspiring beauty experienced at the summit is truly unforgettable, marking the culmination of an arduous but immensely rewarding journey.

Despite its challenges, the Cho Oyu Expedition offers climbers an opportunity for personal growth, camaraderie, and a profound connection to the natural world. It is a testament to the indomitable spirit of human exploration and the enduring allure of the world's highest mountains.

This could be a historic move in the mountaineering world with our aim to find the safest route to the summit of Mount Cho-Oyu 8201M from Nepal.
Many mountaineers have dreamed of opening a commercial route for Mount Cho-Oyu 8201M from Nepal, but it never happened. That is until now!
Looking back, we have achieved impossible feats—reminding us that it is possible to find and open this route.
Opening the route to the summit of Mount Cho-Oyu 8201M from Nepal, will be historic for the entire world. We are an all-Nepali team representing our country and our climbing community—the pioneers of the 8000ers!
This is fearless —we are accepting and still looking out for funding. In recent, is the hardest part of the Project.
With no sponsors, we are relying only on our supporters and believers who donated in our Mount Cho-Oyu 8201M Nepal Go fund. Every climber and staffs are contributing by not taking any money for this expedition.

14 PEAKS : ;will be released on to over 204 million members in 191 countries and will be translated in 31 different languages 🙌🏽🙏🏽
Two years ago today, I stood on the top of Shishapangma and it was mission complete. I managed to climb all 14 death zone peaks in just 6 months & 6 days.
It was an incredible feeling – and it was a victory for everyone. For everyone that has a dream, for everyone that wants to go above and beyond. I wanted my 14 Peaks Challenge to inspire people with the love of the Big Mountains, but more than that, I want everyone to know that if you set your mind to something you can achieve it - no matter who you are and where you come from.
Hard work, dedication, commitment, experience and humility will get you there. 👊🏽💥
And the truth is, I’m just getting started. There is so much more to achieve. So I'm super excited to announce that my film 14 Peaks: Nothing Is Impossible will be out on on November 29th Worldwide . I’m so excited for this next chapter – thank you for joining me on this adventure! 🙌🏽🙏🏽
Stand by for the next week 🙌🏽🙏🏽
