Our Christmas and New Year group arrived to perfect weather, which remained just as stunning as they explored Annapurna Base Camp. Throughout their journey, they enjoyed peaceful days with very few trekkers on the trail, making it feel almost like their own private path. The teahouse experiences were a true highlight, offering delightful treats along the way.
Winter in Nepal is actually a fantastic time to trek at lower elevations, with mostly sunny days and mild temperatures. In fact, there’s usually no snow up to 4,000 meters, making it an ideal season for trekking. It’s the perfect opportunity to explore empty trails and be treated like royalty.

Our student group returned home today, filled with unforgettable memories from our Nepal holiday. The trip was a perfect blend of cultural tours, learning to cook like locals, visiting various community projects, trekking to Annapurna, and experiencing thrilling white-water rafting. Our new student group for the Culture and Adventures trip to the Himalayas has just arrived and is already immersing themselves in the local culture. They’ll be visiting various projects, participating in a cooking class, hiking in the Annapurna region, and experiencing the thrill of white-water rafting—considered one of their best adventures! Over the next two weeks, they’ll have a packed schedule, exploring all the exciting activities they’ve planned.

Here is the new arrivals again! This incredible new group will start by immersing themselves in the rich culture of Kathmandu. Then, they’ll head to Pokhara for a short hike to take in the stunning Annapurna Panorama. Next, it’s off to the Karnali River for an exciting 7-day white-water rafting journey. They’ll explore the diverse wildlife of Bardia National Park, home to rhinos, Bengal tigers, and lush flora. Finally, they’ll return to Kathmandu for some last-minute shopping, taking home unforgettable memories.

Pulling the chariot during Bisket Jatra!
Bisket Jatra is a traditional festival celebrated in Bhaktapur, Nepal, usually around mid-April during the Nepali New Year (Bikram Sambat). It's renowned for its vibrant atmosphere and draws crowds of locals and tourists alike.
During Bisket Jatra, a large wooden chariot bearing the statue of the deity Bhairava, a fearsome form of Lord Shiva, is paraded through the streets of Bhaktapur. Accompanied by music, dance, and cheering crowds, the procession creates a lively and festive scene.
