Our instructors are picked for their knowledge and expertise in the mountaineering. So if you can trek why not climb?? Laurence Nielson and Ang Gyalzen Sherpa made the first recorded ascent to Lobuche East on 25 April 1984. The mountain consists of two summits, East and West with heights of 6,119 m and 6,145 m respectively. A continuous ridge connects them but there is still a sharp gap and a considerable distance between them. This Peak is recognized as a trekking peak, whereas the West is known as an Expedition Peak. The East face rises over the moraine of the Khumbu Glacier to a spectacular skyline, forming the south ridge. Our instructors are picked for their knowledge and expertise in the mountaineering. Island Peak 6,160 meters was first ascended in by a British expedition that included Tenzing Norgay. Eric Shipton's party named the peak in 1953, as it resembled an island in a sea of ice. The peak is part of the south ridge of Lhotse and linked to the semicircle of cliffs that rise to the north of the summit of Nuptse. Our adventure begins with a short flight to Lukla and two days of easy walking to Namche bazaar. En- route to Base Camp our trail takes us into the high valleys of the Khumbu region, providing magnificent views of Everest and the satellite peaks. Island Peak is a substantial undertaking, which demands hard work and commitment, however the rewards of standing on top of this Himalayan classic are ten fold. The sparkling, pristine blue and green waters of the Gokyo Lakes are one of Nepal’s most memorable sights. They comprise the highest freshwater lake system in the world, at around 5,000 meters. The Gokyo Lakes trek is ideal for people who want to trek in the Everest region, but who want more variety of views and fewer nights spent at very high altitude.

Stand at the shores of a chain of six turquoise, glacial-fed lakes
Hike along Ngozumpa Glacier, the largest glacier in the Himalaya
Avoid the Everest crowds, but enjoy the selection of great views

& PEAK for 2022
The Lobuche Peak is the second most popular climbing peak in the Khumbu Region after Island Peak. It too follows the classic Everest Base Camp Trek route up to Gorakshep (5180m).
Starting with a scenic flight into the high altitude airport at Tenzing Hillary airport Lukla, your first trek to Namche Bazaar and Tengboche Monastery.
These locations are well known for their interesting past, locations and, in the case of Tengboche Monastries, stunning views. Still following the Everest Base Camp Trek we reach 5,550 m at Kalapatthar where are marvelous views of Mount Everest and surrounding high peaks. You spend the night at Gorakshep (5,180 m) and explore Everest Base Camp.
Our trail to Lobuche Peak diverts from the regular trekking route. Lobuche Base Camp is at Lobuche Village itself and High Camp is situated at 5,400 m from the sea level.
Highlights of the Adventure:
• The ultimate achievement of summiting Lobuche Peak and that too within a short time frame.
• Unparalleled views of the Khumbu Valley’s giants
• A great introductory expedition into Himalayan climbing
• Relish the grand feeling of being at the lap of the world highest peak- Mt. Everest
• Get acquainted with the unique and warm, hospitable Sherpa people
• Splendid mountain scenery accompanies you all through the journey

of the trek
• Trek a circuit around the entire Everest region
• Amazing views of the highest mountains in the world
• Cross three challenging 5,000 m passes: La, Cho La and La
• Leave the crowds of the Everest Base Camp trek behind

2022
East is one of the most popular “trekking peaks” in Nepal. Located conveniently next to the path to Everest Base Camp, Lobuche east is attempted by trekking groups who come to see the spectacular view of Mt. Everest and the Khumbu valley from its summit, as well as by serious 8000m mountaineers who use the peak for its acclimatization and practice benefits. The climb is relatively straight forward with few technical hurdles. Base Camp and high Camp both have ample space and reliable sources of water, allowing the climber to enjoy the mountain without worrying too much about the logistics.

Many say that the view of Mount Everest from Pikey Peak is one of the best in Nepal. That’s a bold statement, but Sir Edmund Hillary himself claimed it to be his favorite, and we're inclined to agree. This trek can be done in three full-on days, or a more leisurely six.
