Sunkhani Village Home stay is about 25 KM away from Kathmandu city hub. After having about 45 minutes drive to north of the capital city through Shivapuri National Park you reach to home stay easily. Besides, you may enjoy a three hours hiking and enjoy your proximity to the village culture and wonderful view of the Himalayas. al park. Then you walk for about three hours observing the beauty of the national park at the height of 2100 m. From there you will have a wide view of Himalayas. From west to east Manasalu - 8156 m, Ganesh Himal - 7422 m, Langtang range ( the range consists of number of mountains with height more than 7000 m). People from different castes, races and religions live in the village. However, the village comprises predominantly Buddhist population of Tamang community. The unique culture a of Tamang people in the area makes the village a good destination for sociological researchers.
