Tansen is the hill station of Nepal. It is so beautiful place where all want to visit one time.It lies in palpa district,Lumbini zone . The climate of tansen is just like pokhara's climate sub-tropical monsoon type. From tansen we can see all the Mountain's range of pokhara . That is the amazing thing. And the view of maadi(the bif field where rice, wheat are grown). In mornings the fog cover all over it and we cant see the surface of it but that view is awesome.
Tansen most beautiful place is shreenagar hill, the hill is cover with simal tree.If you visit shreenagar in mornings time then you can feel the what is the freshness in the air soil in your heart. There is the picnic area where people came & enjoy with there family. And there is also the temple of load Ganesh which is not made by human its come its self its a magic of god.

From the viewpoint you have a rare chance to view an incredibly long panorama of mountains, ranging from Kanjiroba, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna and Langtang Himal in the north, whereas the plains of the lowlands(Terai) can be observed southwards.

AMAR NARAYAN TEMPLE

When one will observe this temple closely erotic carvings on the wooden structures abecome visible. The temple is surrounded a stone wall locally known as the Great Wall of Palpa.Tansen Durbar(Palace)
Located centrally in the town of Tansen, this palace used, built back in 1927 A.D. has been a government office ever since it was destroyed during the Maoist Insurgency in 2006. Currently the Palace is under reconstruction.

The Sh*tal Pati(Shady Restplace) was built at the start of the 20th century in the centre of Tansen. This rest place has an octogonal shape and is located at the heart of Tansen Square, one of Tansen most popular squares.

Bhagawati Temple(goddess temple)
This temple was built by the governor of Palpa in 1815 A.D. to commemorate the victory over colonial British Indian Forces in the battle of Jitgadh. In 1935 A.D. the temple suffered major damages due to the devastating earthquake that took place that year. The temple which is seen nowadays is a rebuilt temple, that is said to be much smaller than the original temple. Annually in August a chariot procession takes place throughout the town to commemorate the historical battle and victory.

RANIMAHAL

Tansen is a short 15 minutes drive upwards from main road between Pokhara and Lumbini. The town itself is located at an altitude of 1350 metres above sea level and it is one of the most renowned summer resorts of western Nepal. In the surroundings there are many traditional villages to visit and the Shree Nagar Hill offers scenic mountain views. Situated on the way from Pokhara to Lumbini, some stop here just for lunch but an overnight is highly recommended.
