Navadurga dance is taking place in Panauti right now, where the rhythmic movements and vibrant colors of the performers bring to life the nine forms of the Goddess. This sacred festival signifies not just a celebration of feminine power and divinity, but also a profound connection to ancient traditions and the eternal cycle of creation, preservation, and destruction. As the dancers weave their way through intricate steps and mesmerizing gestures, they invoke the blessings of the Navadurgas, embodying their strength, wisdom, and cosmic energy. It's a spiritual journey that transcends time, inviting all to witness the beauty and grace of the divine feminine.

Teej is a colorful and significant Hindu festival celebrated primarily by women in India and Nepal. This joyous occasion typically falls during the monsoon season, marking the arrival of rain and the renewal of life. It's a two-day festival dedicated to the worship of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, symbolizing the bond of marriage and the strength of love.

During Teej, women dress in bright red and green attire, adorn themselves with intricate henna designs, and fast for the well-being and longevity of their husbands. They come together to sing and dance, share stories, and enjoy delicious traditional sweets like ghewar.

The festival's rituals and celebrations vary across regions, but the essence remains the same – it's a time to honor the divine love between Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, as well as celebrate the beauty of married life and the unity of families.

Teej is not only a cultural spectacle but also a time for reflection, devotion, and the strengthening of bonds among women. It's a festival that beautifully encapsulates the rich traditions and values of Hindu culture.

Teej ko subhakamana sabbai lai :)
