Ghorepani –Poonhill –Ghandruk Trekking

About Trip:
Poonhill trek is a short, easy and very famous trekking route located in Annapurna Conservation Area that any individual can experience to make the journey a lifetime memory. The magical snow capped Himalayan Panorama of some of the tallest peaks in the world, picturesque sunrise views over the Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and Manaslu Himalayas and overall natural with cultural experience makes this trek extra special. The view of altering simrik, yellow and white colours in the snow mountains along with the rising sun and increasing warmth at the top of Poonhill really can drive anyone to paradise. Maximum part of the trail consists of the dense forest of Rhododendrons (Laliguras) through which the icy-cold rivers flow down and turn into the astonishing waterfalls which seem as if the diamond crystals are falling down when the sun rays reach the water finding their way through the leaves of Rhododendrons. The foods in the complete unpolluted and natural environment during the trek will definitely be an extra taste for any trekker. Ghandruk, amazingly beautiful village, being where will even add an extra pleasing effect in the mind. The actual lifestyles of Gurungs and Magars, their cultures, traditional style houses with lots of wooden carved doors, windows and furnitures are the things which will teach you about the history of people of past generations during the trek.

1st Day:
Drive from Pokhara (820m) to Nayapul (1010m)
Tea Break at Nayapool
Lunch (Nepali Veg. Thali) at Ramghai
Trek to Tikhedhunga (1540m) / (4 hrs approx.)
Dinner (Non Vege. Nepali Set Thali) with Campfire and music
Overnight at Tikhedhunga (1540m)
2nd Day:
Breakfast and Trek to Ghorepani (2860m)/ (6hrs approx.)
Lunch (Nepali Veg. Thali) at Banthanti (2210m)
Dinner (Any 1 Dinner item in the Menu of your choice + 1 Hot drink)
Overnight at Ghorepani (2860m)
3rd Day:
Early morning Hike to Poonhill (3210m) for the View of Panoramic Mountains and Sunrise (uphill 45 mins- 1hr)
Major Peaks seen from Poonhill are Machhapuchhre (6993m) , Gangapurna (7455m), Hiuchuli (6441m), Annapurna South (7219m), Annapurna I (8091m), Nilgiri (7061m), Dhampus Peak (6012m), Tukuche Peak (6920m), Dhaulagiri I (8171m), Dhaulagiri II (7715m), Dhaulagiri III (7715m), Dhaulagiri V (7619m), Dhaulagiri IV (7661m), Gurja Peak (7193m) including many other peaks.
Hike down to Ghorepani and Breakfast at the same hotel (downhill 30-40 mins)
Trek to Tadapani (2700m) / (5 hrs approx.)
Seasonal fruits provided on the way
Lunch at Banthanti

Explore Ghandruk Village, Visit Tea-Garden, Visit Meshroom Baraha Temple, Hidden Village of Ghandruk, Local Gurung Culture and Lifestyle
Lunch at Ghandruk (1940m)
Visit Traditional Gurung Museum, Annapurna Conservation Area Project Visitors Office, Documentary about Annapurna Conservation Area, Mountains in that region, Plants and Animals found there which is shown by the ACAP Office.
Evening Dinner with Campfire and music at Ghandruk

5th Day:
Breakfast and Trek to Nayapul (1010m) / (4 hrs approx.)
Lunch at Syauli Bazaar (1340m)
Drive to Pokhara (820m)/ 1 hr 15 mins

The Package Includes:

Important:
We strongly recommend the students to carry some junk foods, toilet papers, trekking sticks (can be rented), hat/ cap, folding umbrella, wollen cap, gloves, mask, slippers, water bottle and extra daily needed materials from Pokhara in their luggage since purchasing them in trekking routes is comparatively very expensive than in Pokhara.
