I met this ascetic gentleman at the Pashupatinath Temple in Kathmandu. He is actually handicapped and gets around on a kind of tricycle. He also has crutches, so I asked him to walk a short distance to stand between some beautiful arches. He kindly obliged and made a very picturesque scene. Imagine my horror, when reviewing my camera later on, I found that none of those photos were there. They had disappeared. It's the only time that I've had a major disaster, and I've no idea what happened. Anyway, I had taken this close-up of his head-wear so at least I had that. Lessen learned - always check photos immediately!
