pothana is situated in the western part of nepal................ 20km westnorth from pokhara. there are 7 houses most them are hotel bt few ones are cafe. also there is view point place at the top of village from where you see entire range of annapurna, machhapuchre, huichuli, manasulu, lamjung himal, mardi hima, dhaulagiri etc....main attraction of this place is Kauque lake where we see numbers o

f fishes............. during spring season RHODODENDRON cover all forset. also able to see numerous wildlife like rhesus macaque monkeys, barking deer, kalij etc........
