Nepal is a land of “unity in diversity" with 102 castes and ethnic groups speaking 92 different living languages where brave Gurkhas better love to die then ruled by others. Nepal is one of the few countries in the world where spectacular diversity in climatic as well as topographic features from 70 meters above sea level to the highest point on earth, Mt. Everest, at 8,848 metres, all within a distance of 150 km covered by snow clad mountains with cold alpine type climate in the north, middle region by hills with mild climate and the southern region is covered by plain terai region with very warm tropical climate. In these diverse natural environments an unbelievable range of flora and fauna flourish, attracting nature lovers all year round. Its 10 national parks, three wildlife reserves, six conservations areas and one hunting reserve cover various geographical locations from the sub-tropical terai jungles to the arctic Himalayan region. Nepal is an ornithologist's paradise, with endemic fauna like Himalayan field mouse, spiny babbler, Nepali kalij, 14 herpetofauna. Over 800 species of birds, including 26 varieties of ducks alone, storks, pheasants, cuckoos , black ibis, honey kites, ospreys, black headed orioles, peregrine falcon, partridges, ruddy shelduck, storks and national bird, the Danphe or impeyen pheasant. The present annual global income from tourism is nearly US$13 trillion, with more than 212 million persons are now being employed worldwide through direct and indirect opportunities generated by this industry. It means that out of every nine persons, one person earns a living from tourism. Nearly after a decade of insurgency, conflict, violence, political instability, deteriorating laws with the signing of Comprehensive Peace Accord (CPA) tourism development has become a common agenda of all the political parties, which are committed for establishment of a New Nepal. The number of tourists visiting Nepal has increased continuously after implementation of peace process. At present, this country has grown becoming a total leisure and adventure tour destination for all the passionate travelers offering the perfect blend of natural ambience. With the launch of the new campaigns, concepts and strategies for marketing and promotion, collective efforts of private and public sector tourism stakeholders have succeed and positive to rejuvenate tourism
