I bet you didn’t know that Annapurna Base Camp looked like this 🤯

When we arrived at ABC, it was so foggy that we couldn’t see more than 20 metres ahead of us. As soon as we checked into our room, we walked straight to the viewpoint and literally gasped when we got to edge. All we could see was a drop into the abyss.

☀️ The next morning we watched sunrise from the exact same viewpoint and with clear weather, we could see all the way to the bottom of the edge. At the bottom was a massive glacier - South Annapurna Glacier. Even though we have seen so many photos before, it still took us by surprise seeing such a huge drop.

🏔️ ABC is sitting on an edge overlooking the glacier. Our guide told us that it is predicted that in the next 10-15 years, ABC will disappear because of erosion and movement in the mountains!

➡️Ama Dablam is known to be a very difficult and technical mountain to climb. I was lucky enough to fly a complete lap around this mighty peak in a helicopter and can confirm it looks bloody intense. What do you think about those ridges?? We are heading up for our first rotation in couple of days and then we hope to summit during the first days of November!

Day 01 Flight Kathmandu to Lukla (0,5 hrs.) and trek to Phakding (2640m – 3 hrs.)
Day 02 Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m – 5 hrs.)
Day 03 Resting day at Namche Bazaar for acclimatization. Optional day hike to the Everest View hotel
Day 04 Trek to Deboche via Thyangboche monastery (3820m – 7 hrs.)
Day 05 Trek to Mingbo ((4455m – 5 hrs.)
Day 06 Trek to Ama Dablam base camp (4570m – 4 hrs.)
Day 07 Trek to Pangboche (3930m – 7 hrs.)
Day 08 Trek to Phortse (3810m – 5 hrs.)
Day 09 Trek to Khumjung (3780m – 5 hrs.)
Day 10 Visit Khunde hospital and Edmund Hillary-school and trek to Jorsale (2805m – 6 hrs.)
Day 11 Trek to Lukla (2800 m – 5 hrs.)
Day 12 Flight Lukla to Kathmandu (flight 0,5 hr.)

Cost include:
