Rangoli, an art, made at the entrance of the house to welcome the guest and Goddess Laxmi holds a deeper meaning. The wide-open fan of peacock feather represented by the green in this rangoli embodies qualities of kindness, openness and acceptance. Similarly, the diya lights serve as beacons that represents the essence of kindness spreading it to the entire world. At the end, the pink lotus is a symbol of hope that kindness still exists in this world.
