We are full-time thoroughbred race horse trainers with a passion for racing and winning. We specialise in all things race horse.

Welcome to Jeffcoat Racing Stables. We are a small horse farming establishment based near Patumahoe, near Pukekohe and we deal with thoroughbred horses. We are a family owned and operated business with Denise and her son Ben working alongside each other. We specialse in all aspects to do with thoroughbred horses. From the initial breaking-in stage, to training them at racing level. We also cater f

or pre-training, and trial-training. Anything you require; we will do our best to look after you. Owners are greatly encouraged to take part in our stable environment. Come and visit their horse, and enjoy the thrill of racing. New owners are also most welcome to join a great team at any time. If you would like to be apart of our racing stables either as an owner or potential helper- please do not hesitate in contacting us.

Professional place-getter Forever Young runs 2nd again this afternoon at Ruakaka. 🏇🥈

Second up this prep over 1400m, he went a good run considering the 4kg weight difference between himself and the winner. Hopefully a win isn't too far away. 🙏

🏇 We're off to race under the mountain today at Racing Te Aroha

🏇 ROCHMIE RAY takes his place in Race 5 at 3.20pm, the R60 over 1400m. Jumping from barrier 4, today he has the services of Niranjan Palmer. The long straight of Te Aroha should suit a lot better and we hope of a repeat performance like he did at Pukekohe three starts ago.

We kick off 2025 with a runner at Ellerslie today.

Last start winner 'Berenhard' lines up in the last race at 5.27pm, the special conditions Maiden over 1500m worth $80k. Kelly Myers stays on board for today's assignment. Fingers crossed for another great run 😃🐎

🐎 A great result today by Berenhard at his first start, running a nice 2nd placing at Ellerslie in a nice Maiden field. A horse that's always shown ability so hopefully next start he can go one better. Thanks to Kelly Myers for a great ride. 🐎

We're off to HQ today with two runners from the stable-

🐴▪︎ Rochmie Ray (pictured) takes his place in Race 3 at 2:44pm over the 1100m. Only a small field of 10 runners, goes well fresh, likes Ellerslie, and has top Jockey Warren Kennedy on board.

🐴▪︎ Berenhard lines up in Race 4 at 3.19pm. A Maiden over the 1200m distance. On debut today is this nice Belardo Gelding and comes into this race having won a jumpout very impressively at Ellerslie recently. He has the services of another champion Jockey in Kelly Myers.

Huge thanks to ATR for providing some jumpouts today. 5 horses from our stable enjoyed a nice gallop on the refurbished racing surface. Massive thanks to Bridget for all her help on the ground as well as the three jockeys who partnered with our runners, Tristan Moodley, Tayla Mitchell and Billy Jacobson.

Best of luck to his fantastic owner- Daniel Nakhle. A true gentleman and legend of this sport, who is such a huge supporter of everyone and everything in racing.

There is no one more deserving in having such a good horse like 'Deano'. All the best to Danny, Aaron and the team for this campaign.

Over the years we have had the pleasure of pre-training many quality horses for other stables including horses such as Saint Alice, Waitak, Destination, & Spanish Whisper just to name a few. This new addition is no exception - arriving yesterday, quality Charm Spirit filly "I'munstoppable" has come to us to be prepared for her upcoming spring & summer campaign for Wexford Stables. A huge thanks for her owners who have been such loyal supporters of ours, but also Wexford Stables who have entrusted us to care and prepare her.

Our little consistent stable star 'Burgundy Iff' went another honest race today under the guidance of Group 1 Jockey Sam Spratt; and finished a brave 4th. Here is a lovely video we got sent of "Jessie" pre-race by the connections of this lovely mare. She may not be big, but she is certainly tough and always puts her best hoof forward The best part is seeing the owners on course enjoy the day and loving the racing and their horse. Onwards and upwards 😊❤️
