That’s a wrap for our walking art tours for Art of Newmarket 2022! We had over 60 people join us across four tours where each tour visited six art galleries and over 25 outdoor artworks that included sculptures and murals.

There’s so much more art in Newmarket to see but we can only fit so much in two hours 😥😁

One of the stops on our upcoming tours will be to check out Coral Noel Yang Art exhibition at Newmarket Station Studio 2. We dropped by during her install to get a sneak peak and it looks awesome!

It includes an abstract collage work titled “Kaleidoscope I” which she turned into an umbrella via a collaboration with renowned umbrella brand Rainstory in Taiwan, and we like it so much we’re giving one away 🎆

Everyone who joins our tours during Art of Newmarket goes into the draw. We’ll announce the winner after our last tour on Sep 4.

Kicking off next Saturday! Our walking art tours begin outside Railway Street Studios on Sat 1pm and Sun 10am. Arrive 15mins early to check out their current exhibition Canopy by Maggie McGregor and immerse yourself in the green of the gallery and help build their ‘tribute tree’ by writing your own love letter to trees.

For every artwork sold at this exhibition $10.00 will go to ‘Trees that Count’ to plant a native tree. See www.railwaystreetstudios.co.nz for more info.
