to Years 9 to 11 for schools with a Decile rating of 1 to 5. Kā Life In Schools has been running for 4 years in selected Auckland schools. Hip Hop Public Health NZ - Kā 400 Holiday Programme is for young people aged eleven and over. They enjoy daily structured programming that includes a variety of physical activities such as, performing arts; ki-o-rahi, hip hop, workshops and performances and much more that encourage fun without the negative influences of alcohol, smoking, drugs, and violence in a healthy and safe environment. The aim of Kā 400 is to inspire and ignite passion within the young people who participate, encouraging them in their physical wellbeing, and offering a friendly supportive atmosphere. The kids benefit as they learn new skills, improve their fitness and their confidence while having a whole lot of fun. Ka TV offers a weekly life-style show motivating whānau towards better, healthier living. Jay Tewake and Tara Puke bring a weekly dose of exercises and easy two-minute healthy recipes.
